There is something about night-stays that brings out the honest, wild and best part of us. Some confessions…some tears…lotsa laughter…some gossip…some bolts from the blue…and much more gets encompassed in one short night. Every time we have a night stay, I discover some really interesting stuff about my buddies. And every night stay has taught me some valuable lessons…
The Lessons…..
1. Pretend all u want that you’ve distanced yourself from your best buddies…but the pretence won’t last long…
2. No matter how unthinkingly you’ve behaved, your true friends will always forgive u…
3. New friends are dear…but old ones are a treasure…in short…old is gold…
4. There’s nothing like egocentricity among real and honest pals…altruism does exist…
5. Years and years of differences can turn into ‘friendship of a lifetime’ with a simple ‘sorry’ and a hug…
6. Sometimes your childlike friend has the wisest word of advice for u…
7. Never underestimate the amount of tolerance your friends possess…
8. Past is irrevocable…and dead…all that matters, is how well u mould your present to enjoy a rewarding future…
9. Your buddies will do everything in their power to help u forget that past…
10. Its better to have a few true friends than to have many namesake ones…
The Facts…
1. Girls can cry over some really silly stuff…and I accept it !
2. 99 out of 100 times, the reason for tears is…boys…
2. There’s never a limit on the number of movies u can watch back-to-back…3...4………..5????
3. U may have had a fulsome dinner just an hour ago…yet u can gorge on lays n kurkure non-stop...
4. There’s nothing more divine than sprawling on a single bed…even though the number of people may be 3...4…
5. The one who says she’ll stay awake all night is the first one to fall asleep…
6. U recall the discussed-atleast-a-hundred-times incidents and get nostalgic…
7. Reminiscence is bliss…
8. U always laugh over the things u had cried over in the past…
9. U can never chat/laugh/squabble softly…no matter how late it is and how many times u are threatened….
10. U wish that the night would never end and the fun could last forever…

ReplyDeletewhile reading this post ... the one obvious fact that comes up on u is that u suddenly have realised that u have frnds ... the lessons u've mentioned are the lessons picked up over your existence on earth along with some hearth-breaking moments...
Its funnny though ... that u needed night outs to make u learn and realise them ..
The best way to knw that u missed some1 is to be with them .. :)
